NowBoarding: View from the Wing – Gary Leff – NB 032

Welcome to Now Boarding: The Official Boarding Area Podcast!

Each week one of Boarding Area‘s talented crew of bloggers will jump in the cockpit with “Captain” Ed Pizza, host of Miles to Go and blogger at Pizza in Motion. On each NowBoarding flight, you’ll get a chance to learn more about the folks behind your favorite travel blogs. How they got into blogging about flights, hotels, credit cards and other deals; their favorite destinations and preferred credit cards and loyalty programs.

Beginning this week, there will be some adjustments to our standard episode format. In the mean time, here’s an encore of our interview with Gary Leff of View from the Wing. On this episode, Gary joins Ed to chat all about his blog and passion for travel. Learn how Gary first started blogging, becoming a thought leader in travel. Last but not least our lighting round of questions will highlight Grant’s favorite credit card, hotel and airline programs and the one destination still on his bucket list.

RE: the smaller blogs that Gary reads – in this conversation would have been nice to share how Gary finds and reads blogs. I have to assume as an original travel blogger he is using some sort of RSS reader for blogs he know of, but how does he discover new blogs? (I think the RSS feed reading is becoming a lost tool/art.)
